The interesting thing is that the app is available for Android, iOS, Oculus, PlayStation VR and Gear VR. All the 2018 World Cup matches can be viewed in VR through the app for free; however, the offer is limited, and the app, as the BBC’s iPlayer, is geo-restricted.

According to BBC Sports, the BBC Sports VR 2018 FIFA World Cup app would only allow a limited number of people to see the World Cup in VR; as for the geo-restriction, people living outside of the UK are blocked from using the app.

Note, however, that the BBC Sports VR 2018 FIFA World Cup app doesn’t support Daydream.
