You guys would recollect that back in November TSTV distributed its promo decoders across the Nation. The decoders were meant with some backlashes as beIN Sports displayed an error message that said the sports station was being aired illegally in Nigeria.
At the time, TSTV claimed its server was hacked, and since then nobody hears anything about the decoders again.
But from the latest news coming from the satellite television provider, all issues with the decoders have been fixed and the test transmission is almost completed – meaning the decoders would go on sale very soon.
Announcing that the decoders will be available in the market before Christmas, the PRO of TSTV said, “We are almost done with our test transmission and we are just putting some finishing touches and hopefully by the grace of God, between now and next week the decoders will be out for sale.”
He continued that, “We are informing Nigerians that they must enjoy their Christmas with their decoders. So before Christmas, the decoders will be everywhere in the market.”
On the beIN Sports issue, the PRO said the channel and all the other channels listed on the decoders are intact, and that they have even added more channels. He claimed the total number of channels on the TSTV decoders will be over 70 when finally selling in the market. The decoders will still go for NGN 5,000 and the 20 GB data would still accompany it.
I am happy that the TSTV decoders will finally be available in the market, are you?
